Salaries and Wages Program Review
Recently, a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a comprehensive job classification and compensation study was sent to the marketplace. The purpose of the classification and compensation study is to conduct a thorough analysis of the non-bargaining unit employees salary schedule and current compensation practices. The study will assess competitiveness with applicable labor markets and internal equity components. The compensation study will entail a review of job descriptions, job classifications, external competitiveness, market benchmarking, salary ranges, career paths and education and experience credit. Once analysis is complete, the consultant(s) will make their recommendations to the Executive Team.
It has been 10-plus years since the College last conducted a formal compensation study. To attract candidates and retain employees, College leadership has determined a compensation study is essential at this time.
While the compensation study is in process, there will be a temporary freeze on reclassification requests.
