Altamonte Springs Campus
Expanding Access to Higher Education
Seminole State College of Florida's Altamonte Springs Campus delivers programs to serve southwestern Seminole County, a rapidly expanding area that contains more than one-third of all Seminole County households.
The high-tech campus, conveniently located near the intersection of Maitland Boulevard and State Road 434, offers programs designed to better equip today's students for tomorrow. The campus concentrates on three key academic areas:
- Healthcare: Seminole State's renowned healthcare programs are in close proximity to many of Central Florida's major healthcare facilities.
- General Education: Lab-based biology, English, expanded social science and other liberal arts courses and programs make it even more convenient for Seminole County students to earn their Associate in Arts degrees in preparation for their baccalaureate studies at the university level.
- Adult Education: The campus also offers GED ® Prep, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses.
