Graduation is a special milestone and we take pride in honoring the achievements of our students. Everyone’s college journey is different—how you celebrate should be too. Each year, there are two Commencement ceremony options: Commencement at Grad Walk in Fall (SSC Sanford/Lake Mary Campus) for summer and fall graduates and Formal Commencement in Spring (Addition Financial Arena at UCF) for summer, fall, and spring graduates. At both ceremonies, college leaders congratulate graduates on a stage, with faculty in attendance, and formal photos are taken.
Formal Commencement Ceremony
Date: May 4, 2026
Where: UCF Addition Financial Arena
Length: 3.5 hour time commitment
Guests: Limit of 10 tickets
Event Details: Guests are seated in Arena (first come, first seat selection). Formal graduate processional. Live commencement address, faculty and student challenge speeches.
Graduate photo opportunity in Venue before ceremony hosted by Alumni Association. Interaction with the Alumni Association before Formal Commencement.
