Sustainability Technical Certificate

The Sustainability Technical Certificate is an 18-credit multidisciplinary program that allows students to pursue sustainability topics unique to their interests and primary studies. Course options cover a wide range of subjects, including alternative energy sources, solar contracting and installation, green building, life-cycle analysis, sustainable business strategies and U.S. environmental policy.

Students pursuing the Sustainability Certificate as a part of their degrees will design and create a final capstone project customized to their own program focus, whether that be a photovoltaic system installation, a technical draft for an energy-efficient home, a cradle-to-cradle business operations plan, a hybrid fuel system retrofit or a project as yet unimagined.
