Correspondence Testing
Correspondence Testing is offered by appointment only at the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Testing Center, located in the Student Center (second floor SC-239). Correspondence Testing is offered to non-Seminole State students who are taking academic courses at other institutions and are required to have their exams proctored in a secure testing environment.
Correspondence Testing is by appointment only and is administered at a cost of $35. Payment for Correspondence Testing is non-refundable regardless of whether the exam is completed.
Test Scheduling
Correspondence Testing- for non-Seminole State students offered by appointment only.
- Go to to SSAP-Testing Center
- Login using your user credentials or create a guest account if you’re a first-time user.
- Go to Testing Center Dashboard.
- Click Request Testing or Add New.
- Fill in the requested fields and click Create. The request has now been submitted to the Testing Center. Note: It can take up to one week to process your request.
- Once the instructor has submitted all exam information details and the Testing Center has approved your request, you will receive an email (to the address associated with your guest account) with a link to schedule the exam.
- You will be directed to a scheduling and payment screen; select the time and date for your appointment and enter payment information to secure your appointment.
- Correspondence testing can only be scheduled at the Sanford/Lake Mary campus (SLM SC239)
- The default timeframe to complete any test is six days from the date the instructor creates the exam session. Your instructor may decrease the number of days you have to take the test, but he or she cannot increase it.
- Select the green Save button at the bottom of the page to secure your correspondence testing appointment.
- Return to Testing Center Dashboard to verify, reschedule, or cancel your correspondence testing appointment. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours prior.
Examination Day Reminders
- Prior to taking any examination, you will need to present a current, valid and original photo ID with a signature(e.g., passport, driver’s license or state-issued ID card).
- Digital Identification is not permissible.
- If your photo ID does not include a signature, a second ID is required with your name and signature (e.g., Social Security card, credit card or debit card).
- If your exam requires payment, testing fees must be paid prior to sitting for the exam.
- Acceptable methods of payment include American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa debit/credit cards.
- Testing Fees paid to Seminole State College are non-refundable.
