The “Seminole State College’s Permanent Collection” art exhibit features works of art from the annual student showcase beginning in the late 1960s through present day housed on the second floor of City Hall with additional exhibit space for local artists to display their work on a rotating basis.
“We at The Center for the Fine and Performing Arts at Seminole State College of Florida are very grateful to partner with the City of Sanford and the City of Sanford Public Art Commission,” said Dr. Michele Cuomo, dean of Arts and Communications. “This gallery exhibit provides a learning opportunity for our studio art students, both as artists and as members of the community. We hope the art provides joy and inspiration to City of Sanford employees and all who come to Sanford City Hall.”
The gallery is open during City Hall business hours Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m-5:30 p.m.
