Victoria Ackerman
Victoria Ackerman has been employed at Seminole State since 2000 as a professor of digital media technologies with over 25 years of experience in the digital media field. Ackerman has extensive knowledge, training and work experience in digital design/branding, photography and academia with proficiency in the software, hardware and techniques used within the field of digital media, including but not limited to: brand collateral, promotional collateral, photography, design, social media content design, copy fitting, print technology, web design, pre-flight print preparation, long document layout, typography, color theory, digital illustration, photographic restoration, collage techniques, packaging, photographic retouching/enhancement, along with a strong background in art leadership in the development of creative, conceptual ideas.
Ackerman holds an M.S. in Information Technology with a specialization in web development and design from the University of Denver, Colorado, where she graduated with honors. Her education also includes 35 graduate hours toward an MFA with a specialization in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia, along with receiving a BFA in Visual Communication with a specialization in graphic design from American Intercontinental University, Georgia, where she graduated summa cum laude.
