Hank Glaspie
Vice President, Information Technology and Resources/CIO
Dr. Hank Glaspie is an accomplished technology executive with over 30 years of progressive experience in technology project operations and security management within academic, military, nonprofit and healthcare settings. He has a proven track record of aligning technology initiatives with organizational strategies to achieve mission-critical objectives. Additionally, he is recognized as an innovative strategic thinker and problem solver with exceptional leadership skills.
Most recently, he served as interim associate vice president and deputy CIO at UCF. He brings a breadth of knowledge and expertise in the ever-changing areas of IT and cybersecurity. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and committed to serving others through effective technology solutions.
Glaspie earned his Ph.D. in Modeling and Simulation at UCF, where he focused his research on cybersecurity, medical simulation and logistics. He also holds two master’s degrees, two bachelor’s degrees, and several certifications. In addition, he serves as a board member for the National Cyber Watch Center and was an active member of the Florida State College Information Security Working Group and the Florida State College Technology Refresh Committee, to name a few of his industry affiliations and professional associations. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Navy as an officer for eight years.
As CIO, Glaspie serves as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing Seminole State's technology infrastructure and ensuring alignment with the College’s mission and strategic goals.
