Seminole State's Awards & Recognition

Seminole State College's Program Manager and Professor of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Angel Nater, has been honored with the 2024 EMS Educator of the Year award.

Dr. Loretta Ovueraye, vice president of Academic Affairs and chief academic officer at Seminole State has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award in the Germany International Education Administrators Program for 2024-2025.

The $1 million award is the nation's signature recognition of strong performance among community colleges. The winner will be announced in the spring of 2025.
