Shawn Molsberger, Trustee
Shawn Molsberger was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis in September 2o22.
Molsberger currently serves as senior vice president, Orlando Health Northeast Region, and president, Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital. He also oversees the Orlando Health Emergency Room & Medical Pavilion – Lake Mary. In 2020, 2021 and 2022, Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital was recognized nationally as one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work. The organization was also named to the Fortune/IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals list. The 100 Top Hospital award is given annually to those hospitals that rank highest in overall performance in quality of patient care, operational efficiency and financial health. Molsberger has held various leadership positions across the Southeast for over 20 years and began his career as an occupational therapist.
Molsberger has been active in each community he has resided, and he currently serves as the immediate past chair of the Board of Directors for the Seminole County Chamber, Board of Directors of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Seminole County, Board of Directors of the Rescue Outreach Mission, and the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Seminole State College. He is a past board member of the Heart of Florida United Way and a current member of the Rotary Club of Lake Mary. Molsberger is Board Certified in Healthcare Management and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is also a former president of the Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives. He was named one of Becker’s Hospital Review “83 Community Hospital CEOs to Know for 2022” and is an honoree of the Orlando Business Journal’s 2022 C-Suite Awards.
He and his wife, Susan, have two boys currently enrolled in the Seminole County school district and a daughter enrolled at the University of Central Florida and are residents of the Longwood community.
