This cherished event, rooted in a 40-year tradition of honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., has become a cornerstone of community engagement. Each year, students, faculty, staff, and local residents come together to commemorate Dr. King’s legacy and highlight the importance of education and mentorship in fostering success.

This year’s program will spotlight two exemplary community leaders: Larenze T. Young, commissioner of the Sanford Youth Football Association, and Octavius Clark, coach at Winter Springs High School. Both honorees have dedicated themselves to uplifting young people and embody the values at the heart of Heritage Jubilee.
