Written by: Seminole State Staff
The Speaker Series at Seminole State College of Florida will welcome eCommerce and artificial intelligence expert Karl Lillrud on Tuesday, Jan. 30, to present the next topic in the 2023-24 series, “AI and our minds of the future.”
During the presentation, Lillrud, an expert with more than 27 years in the field, will explore how AI is changing the world around us and how it fits into our daily lives. He’ll also discuss the imperfections of AI and the importance of checking the information it generates. For those asking, “what’s in it for me?” Lillrud will bring the topic home with a discussion of how AI can make everyday tasks quicker and smoother and help everyone get more done with less stress.
Artificial intelligence is the focus of the 2023-24 Speaker Series, and as the second in the series, Lillrud’s presentation aims to make this big topic and the ideas surrounding it easy to understand.
Speaker Series events are free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. To request accessibility accommodations, please email Disability Support Services.
