Seminole State College of Florida's Center for Business Development is supporting the Seminole County business community by ensuring companies understand the various loan programs available to them through the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that includes $367 billion in low-interest SBA loans.
In partnership with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and the Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) network, the center’s SBDC is assisting with the Florida Emergency Bridge Loan application processing.
“Due to the unprecedented nature of the pandemic, the demand for all of these loans has been overwhelming and the process has been extremely fluid,” said Amy Kirkland, director of the Center for Business Development at Seminole State. “Our team is working diligently to stay on top of the latest announcements, so we can provide the most current information to business owners.”
Seminole State’s Center for Business Development has been assisting small businesses in Seminole County for over 24 years. Through the College’s Small Business Development Center, Business Incubation Program, Advisory Board Council and Corporate College programs, it supports businesses of all sizes and in various stages of development, from start-ups to multi-million-dollar companies.
