Seminole State blasts into 2019 with flurry of Moon Week activities

Seminole State College, home to the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Planetarium, will showcase “Moon Week” with a week of activities leading up to a viewing party in celebration of the total Lunar Eclipse Jan. 20-21.
Moon Week 2019, sponsored by CFE Federal Credit Union, is a week-long celebration for our nearest celestial neighbor, the Moon. Activities include talks, films, an art show, planetarium and laser shows, and a Lunar Eclipse Viewing Party. All activities, except for planetarium and laser shows, are FREE and open to the public.

Film Screening of "Last Man on the Moon"
Join us for a free film screening of the critically acclaimed documentary "Last Man on the Moon".
Synopsis: When Apollo astronaut Gene Cernan stepped off the moon in December 1972 he left his footprints and his daughter's initials in the lunar dust. Only now is he ready to share his epic but deeply personal story of fulfillment, love, and loss.
