International Student Insurance Coverage

All international students must have valid medical insurance to enroll in classes at Seminole State College. International Student Insurance is our preferred vendor for health insurance coverage and proof of policy must be submitted before classes start. 

Please visit International Student Insurance to get the required level of coverage.

The following types of plans are not accepted: 

• Travel Insurance or Short-term in-bound insurance policies
• Reimbursement Plans 
• Plans that do not provide benefits equivalent to US Federal Health Care Reform Law coverage requirements  

Please submit proof of insurance to: international@seminolestate.edu .

 If you have any question about the required health insurance policy, you can contact:  international@seminolestate.edu .  Students will not be able to register for classes without proof of adequate coverage.
