Seminole State’s Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Health Services Management prepares students for employment as health services personnel. The content through the program includes communication skills, leadership skills, human relations and employability skills, principles of management, introduction to computer literacy, healthcare organization, medical ethics, legal aspects, and health and safety.

Healthcare Services Specialist Technical Certificate
Seminole State's Technical Certificate as a Healthcare Services Specialist is a 27-credit hour program that prepares students to become proficient in the latest software used in medical offices. Medical office personnel play an integral part in the day-to-day operations of a medical practice. Medical office personnel may be responsible for, but are not limited to: monitoring the office budget, ordering medical supplies, and implementing office policies and procedures. Graduates will also be trained to understand the complexities of healthcare insurance regulations and payment systems.
This certificate is upward compatible with the A.S. degree in Health Services Management. An A.S. degree in Health Services Management will enhance numerous career opportunities with healthcare facilities such as doctors’ offices, hospitals and nursing care facilities.

Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree
An Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree helps students seamlessly transition into a bachelor's degree program at one of Florida's four-year institutions.
Health students will complete the common prerequisite courses for an upper-division health major as part of their general A.A. degree program. After graduating from Seminole State, they can continue their studies at a state college or university with junior standing.

Health Sciences Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree
The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) is an interdisciplinary completion program focused on career and academic advancement for current practitioners as well as to deliver a well-rounded generalist curriculum by providing the skills, competencies, and values needed to advance and professionally contribute to the evolving health care industry.
The BSHS program will include six specialty tracks: Respiratory Therapy and Clinical Leadership, Health Coaching and Human Performance, Healthcare Management and Professional Services, Simulation in Healthcare Education, Clinical Science and Community Paramedic.
