Receive one-on-one business coaching through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The SBDC provides business advising, access to training, tools and resources to help small businesses in Seminole County start, grow, expand and succeed.

Professional Development and Continuing Education non-credit courses are available to companies seeking additional training opportunities. Courses are offered online or in-person and can be customized to the employer’s needs.
If you’re looking to level up your professional skills or desire supplementary training and/or certifications for your employees, the Center for Business Development has a wide array of training options available through our Institute for Training.
Hiring and Need Money to Train?
The Quick Response Training Grant (QRT) is a State-Funded training grant through CareerSource Florida that offers training dollars for companies in high-growth mode. In partnership with the Center for Business Development, this grant gives Seminole County businesses the opportunity to receive reimbursement for training new hires each year. The training grant is renewable annually and customizable to each company's needs.
