This course encompasses the application shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and basic to intermediate gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) skills. Areas of
study include how to create fillet welds in all positions on plain carbon steel. Students will also gain knowledge on how to perform lap joints 3F-4F and V-groove
joints 2F-4F.
