LEO0484 Child Sex Crimes Investigations

This is an advanced/specialized training course for law enforcement or corrections officers. This 40-hour course is part of the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commissions approved Instructor Training program. Upon completion of this course, the officer will learn to be able to understand child sexual abuse and how the child either discloses or denies it, to respond to and process an abuse scene, to collect, package and track evidence, to find corroborating evidence, to conduct and interview with a suspect, to take notes and write reports that are detailed and descriptive and to prepare for a successful prosecution.
