This is a theoretical and practical course that includes the study of service applications within the HVAC/R industry. Areas of study include troubleshooting heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration components and accessories, and various types of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration ventilation piping. Students will also receive instruction on soldering, brazing and welding techniques and mechanical joining methods. Lab fee required.
