Welcome to Seminole State College's Final Bow Recital
Welcome! Final Bow is the final recital for our music majors who have completed the music sequence. These students have finished four levels of music theory, piano skills, applied lessons and at least four semesters of ensemble participation. The faculty and staff are extremely proud of our students and wish them the very best as they move on in their musical journey.

Dakota will graduate from Seminole State College this semester and plans to transfer to a local university where she will pursue her bachelor's degree in music. Dakota hopes to use her degree to teach elementary students and inspire children to love and appreciate music.
A special thanks to Professor Campbell, Dr. Smisek, Professor Mumbert, and Dr. Cook for inspiring Dakota during her time at Seminole State College. And a special thanks to her Mom and Dad, who have encouraged and supported her through her journey.

Ethan is in his fourth semester of music at SSC. He plans to transfer to the University of North Florida in the fall to continue pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Choral Music Education, and his Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting.
He would like to give special thanks to Professor Campbell, Dr. Smisek, Dr. Cook, and Mrs. Jamie Poss for all of their care, help and support throughout his college career.

Xander plans on pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in music education. He later plans to study for his Master’s Degree in trumpet performance with plans to play professionally.
He would also like to thank his parents, Zac Chowning, Dr. Smisek, and Mr. Almeida for helping guide him to where he is today.

Emma is continuing her vocal studies after graduating with her AA from Seminole State College. Emma plans to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in music, focusing on vocal performance and vocal pedagogy.
Emma gives a special thanks to all the students, professors, and both accompanists who have sown into her. She also gives Seminole State Music Department and the College a special thanks for the opportunities and the scholarships she has received.

After graduating with his associates degree, Riley plans on transferring to the University of North Florida where he will continue his studies in jazz, as well as pursuing a double major in Music Technology. He will also continue creating and publishing his own music and working alongside other artists and producers.
Riley would like to give very special thanks to his mother, Erin, his father, Chris, and all of his friends and classmates who have supported his musical endeavors over the past two years.
