CareerSource Central Florida: Help is Here
Help is Here is an opportunity for Orange County residents whose jobs have been impacted by COVID-19 to receive free career training and assistance from CareerSource Central Florida in partnership with Seminole State College. Help is Here allows qualified residents to upgrade their skills for a new career in a high-demand field in 12 weeks or less through Seminole State's certificate programs or complete the last semester of a degree for immediate placement in the workforce.
Under Help is Here, CareerSource Central Florida will pay tuition, fees and books for qualified applicants.

Requirements
To participate in Help is Here, you must be:
- An Orange County resident
- 18 years or older
- Unemployed, furloughed or have reduced hours due to COVID-19
- A U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Once you have registered for Help is Here and been approved, to attend Seminole State for career training, you must:
- Apply and be accepted to Seminole State
- Complete the Steps to Enroll
Degree Completion Option
The degree completion option is available for Spring Term 2021. With this option, qualified students may receive financial support for tuition, fees and books to complete the last semester of their Associate in Science or bachelor's degree. The degree must be completed by May 1, 2021.
Certificate Options
The following certificate options are available for Fall Term 2020 and Spring Term 2021.
