Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
The health of our college community is our highest priority. The Emergency Response Team has been monitoring and responding to the global COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020. As the pandemic continues to evolve, we will adjust our response to the current environment.
As of July 1, the College’s COVID-19 protocols are as follows:
- Communicable Disease Coordinators have ceased operations and the College community has returned to pre-COVID procedures. Illness reporting and contact tracing has ended. Any illness impacting someone’s ability to come to work or attend classes should be handled with the appropriate contact at the College. Employees should communicate with their supervisors and students with their faculty members. As with any issues related to illness, if you are sick, please stay home and follow the College’s Communicable Diseases procedure.
- Employees should use sick leave for absences related to any illness. With the end of federal funding for COVID relief, temporary COVID leave pay for employees who are required to self-isolate and are unable to work due to COVID-19 illness is no longer provided by the College.
- Lastly, please be patient with each other and respect personal decisions regarding face masks and other COVID precautions.
Thank you all for your patience and flexibility in an ever-changing environment.
