Once you become a Seminole State student, you’re automatically a member of the (unofficial…but we’ll
count it anyway) Raider fan club, which means free admission to all Raider home events! Raider
Athletics competes in five National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) sports and is a
member of the Florida College System Activities Association/Mid-Florida Conference.

Dr. Janell Robinson knows that a well-built network is important not only for computers, but people too. She aims to include more women and people of color into STEM areas and designed the curriculum for former Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon’s inaugural CodeOrlando summer camp for underprivileged youth.

Rachel Yang is getting a hands-on education while pursuing her bachelor’s degree. As a part of the work-study program, Rachel is working with the College’s Marketing and Communications team on everything from snapping the perfect Instagram photo for the College’s platforms to volunteering at events on campus.
Brandon Widener made his childhood dream come true. After watching “The Lion King” as a child, he fell in love with the film industry. Attending Seminole State and completing his associate degree in multimedia technology gave Brandon the skills he needed to land a job working for Disney XD in Los Angeles.
