Respiratory Care Application Selection Process

All applications must meet the following requirement to be considered:

• A cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher

 If applications meeting the above criteria are greater than the number of seats available in the program, applications will be sorted by the following criteria:

• Completion of additional general education courses
  • Applicants who have completed all the required general education courses.
  • Applicants who have completed all science courses but need to complete one non-science course.
  • Applicants who have completed all science courses but need to complete two non-science courses.
  • Applicants who are missing one science course and have completed all other general education courses.
  • Applicants who are missing one science course and one non-science course but have completed all other general education courses.
• Final Step:  Re-calculated GPA (GPA of completed general education courses required by the program)
