Professional and Technical Employees Council (PTEC)

The Professional and Technical Employees Council (PTEC) is the officially recognized organization of professional and technical employees at Seminole State College of Florida. PTEC membership is open to all professional and technical employees at the College. The Council meets regularly to discuss the concerns and needs of its constituents and brings those concerns forward to Administration as necessary.

Mission Statement

In support of the mission of Seminole State College, the Professional & Technical Employees Council will provide a platform for its members to:

  • Communicate topics of organizational interest and share developments across departments, divisions, and campuses.
  • Promote professional development and provide opportunities for members to achieve and maintain the highest level of professional competence.
  • Discuss trends within higher education and industry trends that may affect higher education.
  • Review institutional processes, address employee concerns, and share ideas for improvement through the Exchange of Views.
