The Wharton-Smith Center for Construction, part of Seminole State's School of Construction, Design, Engineering and Information Technologies, offers programs grounded in academic course work, site visits and practical application of industry principles.

The Center offers a comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of Central Florida's construction industry, including apprenticeship programs; fast-track certificates; credit certificates; two-year Associate in Science (A.S.) degrees in Construction and Building Construction Technology; and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Construction.
