Music Events
Seminole State’s Music Department presents an array of concerts and recitals throughout the year that highlight talented students and faculty as well as renowned regional and national artists.
Most events are free and open to the public. However, some venues will suggest a donation. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time.

Opera Orlando Studio Artist Showcase at Seminole State College

Experience the power and beauty of live opera as Seminole State College of Florida proudly presents the Opera Orlando Studio Artists in a captivating afternoon performance.
This special event features rising stars Alexandra Kzeski, Ruoxi Bian, and Logan Tarwater, showcasing their exceptional vocal talents and dramatic artistry.
As part of Opera Orlando’s prestigious Studio Artist Program, these gifted performers are among the next generation of operatic talent, bringing fresh energy and passion to the stage. Audiences will enjoy a diverse selection of arias, duets, and ensemble pieces that highlight the depth and versatility of these young artists.

Calling all Jazz enthusiasts. Seminole State College presents the SSC Jazz Ambassadors, SeminoleSound, and Jazz Combo in concert for a night of jazz. Led by band director, Dr. James Smisek and choral director, Dianna Campbell the ensembles will be performing both classic and contemporary compositions for your listening pleasure. This is a free concert. Make your reservation in advance to reserve your favorite seat.
