Seminole State's Awards & Recognition

Thu Pham, a Seminole State College of Florida honors student, has been named a 2024 Coca-Cola Academic Team Silver Scholar and will receive a $1,250 scholarship.

Seminole State College of Florida Biology Professor Dr. Laila Nimri was honored with the Association of Florida College’s (AFC) 2023 Professor of the Year award. In the 22 years she’s taught at Seminole State, she has made a difference in both students’ and faculty members' lives.

For the third time, Seminole State is eligible to compete for the $1 million Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation's signature recognition of high achievement and performance among two-year colleges.
